SMTxTNBC: Persona!

Just in time for Halloween! Back around my birthday, ZootyCutie drew a crossover with characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas (plus a fan character) on the Persona 4 cover, with Jack's scarecrow costume from the beginning of the movie replacing Izanagi. I wanted to do something...more with it. So here's Jack and his Persona, newly dubbed Samhain, of the Death arcana.

And now for the obligatory Persona mythology dump. Samhain (pronounced around the lines of "Sah-win") isn't a figure in mythology; rather, it is the name of the Gaelic festival marking the end of the harvest season. You may know it better in its current form, Halloween. I actually got the idea for naming Jack's Persona from reading the TVTropes page of the old Ghostbusters cartoon, where Samhain (pronounced as its spelled in the cartoon) appears as the so-called spirit of Halloween, though it seems he's more of the spirit of what people associate with Halloween, much like Jack Skellington. In battle, Samhain would probably use Mudo (dark insta-kill) and Bufu spells, to symbolize both Jack's talent for fright and his love of Christmas.
